Prepping For Your Appointment!

Whether you’re getting married, getting ready for a photoshoot or a special occasion, there are a few things you need to know before arriving for your appointment.

  • Clean Dry Hair is Best! - Always arrive with your hair clean and dry. Your artist has professional products in her kit that will make your hairstyle last all day and evening. (This does not apply if you have arranged for a blow-dry. In which case your hair should be clean and wet.)

  • Sunscreen - Skincare and sunscreen are important. It’s recommended that you do not use an SPF higher than 35 the day of your appointment, specifically when getting Airbrush Makeup. Higher SPF can react with the Airbrush formula, decreasing its longevity. However, other routine daily skincare products can be used and are encouraged.

  • Do not try anything new- It’s tempting to try a new face mask, treatment, lotion, etc. right before your appointment. However, some products can cause irritation. It’s best to stick with what your skin knows and what works best for you. If you want to try a new treatment or product be sure to give yourself time for a test run. If you do have a reaction, there will be time for your skin to heal before your appointment.

  • Exfoliating- If you exfoliate your face on a regular basis, do so the day before your appointment, not the day of. If you can, you should exfoliate your lips and apply lip balm on the day of your appointment just before your artist arrives.

  • ALSO, CONSIDER THESE SUGGESTIONS

    - If you don’t typically do so, drink lots of water the week prior to your event/booking. Doing this will help your skin look healthy and give you a beautiful glow.

    - Wear lip balm on a regular basis.

    - Depending on your desired look, consider adding a blow-dry to your services.
